FR Zipper with Nomex® Tape
FR zipper made with Nomex tape is one of the most reliable flame retardant zippers available in the market. No matter to firefighter uniform, arc flash suit, oil and gas coverall, or pilot suits, FR zipper with Nomex tape plays an important part. It is assurance for fire resistance, tear strength, and color fastness.
The teeth comes in two material, Metal brass and Plastic FR. Each has their own merits. Brass FR zipper is more often chosen, but for apparel in special industries where insulation is required, e.g., the electrical arc flash suit, Plastic FR Zipper is a must.
